It seems like lately that I begin every blog entry with an apology for not blogging more frequently! I’ve been incredibly busy lately with shoots. A lot of them have been boudoir sessions, which I love doing but can’t always share with all of you! On recent shoot was the bridal portrait of Massie Lee. I haven’t had time to edit much, but this shoot was just absolutely full of fantastic images! Her parents have a gorgeous 1860 farm house where she grew up that was the perfect location for the shoot.
We started out with some more traditional images that fit well with the more traditional architecture:
Then we did a whole series of shots having fun with Massie’s veil. I love the drama and texture and the play of light:
Then we moved to the back where there was some beautiful late afternoon sun shining through the trees. The setting was already pretty outstanding, but then Massie’s parents enticed their horses over to “pose” for us. How perfect is that?
The horses did great until I asked Massie to move closer to the fence and that was it! They totally spooked and this was the last shot that I got:
The wedding is a week from Saturday at the farm as well and I can’t wait! There are so many cool places to shoot, I’ll be like a kid in a candy store! Stay tuned!
