Welcome, and thanks for visiting my website! I’m Patty and these are my images. I specialize in wedding and boudoir photography and split my time between the Rogersville area of East TN, but will happily travel anywhere!
Some of my favorite things to photograph during a wedding are the candid shots because they are so full of emotion. To me, these are the images that bring the day back to life and make you feel as if you are there as you view them. Tears and laughter, smiles and frowns, nerves, anticipation and enjoyment are all part of the myriad emotions of a wedding. You’ll find examples of these photographs in my Candids Galleries.
Equally as important to me are the portraits. My goal is to capture portraits that are relaxed enough to appear almost un-posed to the viewer. Done correctly, these can capture not just how beautiful you look the day of the wedding, but also give a glimpse into your relationships and who you are as a couple. Where are you located?
My husband and I live in Rogersville, which is in East Tennessee near the Tri Cities area, but I will happily travel anywhere!
How long have you been a photographer?
I got my first camera when I was eight, so it’s always been a big part of my life. I started shooting weddings full time professionally in 2004.
Is this your full time job?
Yes, I am a full time photographer specializing in weddings and boudoir photography.
What’s your shooting style?
I specialize in a blend of photojournalistic candids and relaxed portraiture. The most common comment I get when people look at my photographs is how I was able to capture the emotion of the day. I’m a very laid back person and that comes across in my approach to shooting. I try to be unobtrusive and stay in the background but will direct as needed.
Can I get the files of the images?
Yes! All wedding day coverage comes with full resolution files of all the images along with a print release.
